Current Vintage: 2006 The bright scarlet red robe leads into a leafy, grassy cool vintage Cabernet nose backed by lush sweet red fruits. There’s less brambles and more herbal notes than seen in warmer vintage Peel cabernets. The palate is medium-bodied and the overall flavour profile is of fresh, small red fruits. The palate is nicely balanced, fine and elegant in style. There’s real length and a clean, gentle finish.
