Peel Blues 'n' Roots Revue

A great day out for the whole family. Bring a picnic chair or rug and enjoy an afternoon of outstanding live music from some of WA's best blues acts including

John Meyer's Blues Express, Andrew 'Walter' Morgan, Pete Romano & Mark Constable and Mike De Velta

The Great Shiraz Tasting gives people the opportunity to taste and compare a fantastic selection of 6 year old Shiraz.  Twenty premium Shiraz wines from Australia and overseas are selected by Will Nairn, the Senior Winemaker at Peel Estate, and a panel of wine writers,  retailers, wine makers and wine lovers. The selected wines are at least 6 year vintage and Penfold's Grange and Henschke's Hill of Grace are always on the tasting list.   A three course lunch is prepared by multi Gold Plate award winning chef Andrew Peaston of Chanterelle at Jessicas. Lunch is followed by a guest speaker. Past guest speakers have included Chester Osborn, Stephen Henschke, Jim Brayne, James Halliday, Viv Thomson and Trevor Mast.

Jazz At Peel

The inaugural Peel Wine Association progressive long table lunch will be a celebration of local wine matched with food that is regionally distinct and unique to the region. Prepared to get actively involved in this unique dining experience where celebrated Chef Ivan Mather will be creating a four course feast matching the best of Peel Region Wines with fresh seasonal produce that champions the region. This rustic wine and food experience will call on diners and their taste buds to be involved and to get excited at this not to be missed event, starting at the stunning Mandurah Performing Arts Centre, located on the Boardwalk, Mandurah Estuary before moving to M on the Point across the Boardwalk.

An emerging wine destination, the Peel wine region lies between the Swan District and Perth Hills to the north and Geographe to the south, with over 200 hectares of wine grapes grown over this considerable area the region holds a mix of mature of and more recent plantings. The first ever Peel Wine Association trade tasting aims to give local producers exposure to the liquor trade industry on a one-to-one basis. Proprietors and staff of all licensed outlets in the Peel region along with others in the industry outside the Peel will be invited to an afternoon information and tasting at the centrally located Bendigo Bank Stadium, home of the Peel Thunder Football Club.

The Peel Wine Region Association invites all wine lovers to an evening to excite their palates with regionally distinctive vintages and varieties. For the first time ever a selection of wineries from the Peel Wine Region will host a consumer wine tasting evening. Local suppliers of fresh produce from the "Peel" will also be offered the opportunity to showcase their produce alongside the Peel Wines. We invite members of the community and their guests to come along and explore, delight and discover some hidden gems that are on their doorstop!
