Enjoy Our Picnic Grounds
Enjoy a relaxed day out at Peel Estate Wines, surrounded by shady tuart trees and open grounds. Bring along your own picnic, settle in with family and friends, and make the most of our peaceful country setting. BBQ facilities are available, and our cellar door is open for wine tastings and purchases to enjoy in the grounds or take home.
Opening Hours
Our picnic grounds are open during cellar door trading hours:
Monday to Thursday: 12 noon – 4pm
Friday to Sunday: 10am – 5pm
We are open seven days a week, excluding Good Friday, Christmas Day and before midday on ANZAC Day.
Make Yourself at Home
We have a limited number of picnic tables available, but you're welcome to bring your own picnic rug, chairs or table to make yourself comfortable. You can bring your own food and non-alcoholic drinks, but BYO alcohol is strictly prohibited. Wine purchased from our cellar door can be enjoyed in the grounds.
Groups of all sizes are welcome. If you're planning to visit with more than 10 people, please contact us beforehand so we can check availability and ensure we have enough space.
Planning Your Visit
Throughout the year, we host regular events, including our popular Music Days and markets. Some areas of the grounds may be unavailable during these events, so please check our Events page or contact us before visiting.
A Few Things to Note
- Children must be supervised by an adult at all times.
- No pets are permitted on the grounds.
- Please respect our grounds and other visitors so everyone can enjoy their time at Peel Estate.
